Redondo Beach is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Redondo Beach follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Tucked into the same Redondo Beach complex as the auto spa and shabu shabu spots, Adore Dessert Café feels like a cozy neighborhood French café you accidentally discover and then keep coming back to. The café has a warm indoor space, a cute outdoor patio, strong coffee options, and a relaxed local feel that makes it easy to linger. The avocado toast we ordered came with a nice salad. The pastry case by the counter was filled with chocolate croissants, quiche, and other baked goods that looked pretty! There are plenty of omelet and brunch options, but even non-egg eaters will find enough pastries and coffee drinks to make the stop worthwhile.

It had a subtle touch of a French-style café and bakery. As I have rather high standards when it comes to coffee, I wouldn’t say I was completely satisfied—but it was certainly above average, and overall quite acceptable. The bread, however, is worth recommending. The baguette was particularly good, and the selection of French desserts was also quite enjoyable. I made a point of visiting, though I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s worth a special trip. Still, if you live nearby or happen to be passing through, it is definitely worth a stop. What stood out most was the kindness of the owner. I would gladly return someday—if only to see them again and to pick up another baguette. Update: The baguette I picked up here was honestly so good. Definitely coming back for another one.

What a lovely cafe! The mocha I got was absolutely delicious, not too sweet or bitter, just right and exactly the way I like it. The desserts were out of this world good and the owner is the sweetest person I have ever met! 100% recommend Adore Dessert Cafe to anyone and will definitely be coming back soon! 5/5 stars!

We came here twice over the past 2 days. This is my gold standard for hospitality. A perfect little hidden gem. I wish I could've tried every single pastry in there. Everything we had was delicious. The chocolate croissants were flakey and delicious. The shortbread apple pastry (I am blanking on the name) was incredible. My partner got a goat cheese and sundried tomato puff pastry that was super rich and delightful. The caprese was my favorite item by far, and I tend to order them anywhere I can. This one might actually be the best caprese I have ever had. Katie is the most welcoming person ever. There is so much pride and love in this café and she is a representation of that. She shared the story of the family cafe and how they got to this point. Told us about how fresh everything is and how seriously they take "from scratch". She is so lovely. I absolutely adore Adore!!!! Everything about this Café is delightful and wonderful and amazing. I will return any time I can.

This is a hidden gem. Tucked away off the beaten path in a tranquil little plaza. Glad I found it. There's plenty of free self parking. There's a nice outdoor patio that's somewhat shaded. The case is nicely decorated with plenty of indoor seating. Katie is very warm and friendly. She made good recommendations. There's lots of options... both savory and sweet. Didn't get a chance to sample their vast coffee and tea options. Hopefully next time I visit.
